The 31 Days of August Challenge

Posted on 24 August 2009 by Scott

FGB 3 thought it was pretty bad ass.  It tramped around all summer in 2008 thinking it was the champ… thinking it would never be defeated.  Then came along FGB 4 and smashed last year’s numbers’ face into the mat before it even had a chance to tap out.

With only SEVEN days left in the month of August, we thought you might like to see the numbers. By the end of last August, 68 teams raised $103,163… while this year, over 4 TIMES that number of teams have raised $150,150 to date. Cancer isn’t waiting, and sure as hell our troops aren’t waiting, are we?

The Challenge:

Our goal is to show the world we mean business by raising a minimum of $250,000 before Sept 1.  We have SEVEN days to reach this number.  Stats would indicate that if we are able to raise this amount, we will be well on our way to reaching our $1 million goal by September 26th.  And that’s the number.
